A photo I took. Hm. Here’s one I took this summer, at the Romanian border.

This is possibly the shortest post I’ve written. Well, a picture’s worth a thousand words I guess.

What do you think?

Dear JiJoo (AKA Janet.)

Thank you so much for living with us for a year. You were awesome and I’ll always treasure the memories of orange chocolate, hamsters, the Princess Bride and soap candy. Not to mention ketchup. Yeah, I hate ketchup now because you ate it on a waffle. πŸ™‚

Thank you for all your patience dealing with a know-it-all seven year old, a blonde five year old, a quiet three year old and a baby sleeping in your room. Well, some of us slept in your room. The rest kept you up all night.

I remember you helped all of us with our letters, and watched us during classes and meetings. That was always fun when you were there and we would go eat ice cream.

I miss you so much, and to me, you’ll always be that fun-loving, Scottish nineteen year old that was sweet enough to let us into your hearts. I wish you all the best with Matt, Tim and the baby on the way. And if you ever need some help, I’ll come over to Perth. πŸ™‚

Love you.

Five things I can’t live without. I’m assuming this doesn’t include people because people are not things.

1. Books. I cannot live without books.

2. Music. ❀ Music!

3. The Internet. Mainly because that’s where I get all my books and music from. And TV. And movies.

4. Warm drinks. I love love love coffee, tea and hot chocolate. πŸ™‚

5. Blankets. Blankets are awesome. They’re sos warm and warm and warm!

This is excluding air, water, food etc. because they’re kinda obvious. Hahahaha.

What are your favorite things?

~StoryWeaver

Yeah, I know. I missed a day. However, I had a friend over and the internet was down. It took five minutes to open a page. Onto day five. Quotes!

Do I have to pick a favorite? I can’t pick a favorite!

But here are a couple of them.

“Never doubt that a small, thoughtful group of committed individuals can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing ever has.” Margaret Mead.

“I knew God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish He didn’t trust me so much.” -Mother Theresa.

“Mom. You may not know this but a thousand or a hundred years ago there was a man named Hitler. And he locked people in a boat and they couldn’t get out.” – Voldemort’s little sister.

“Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.” E.L. Doctorow.

What do you think? I like quotes, do you?

~The StoryWeaver.

Ah, curse these silly favorites. Okay. *deep breath* I’m going to alter this.

Ahem. It is now A Favorite Television Program in each Category. Sounds good, no?

1. Bones (Crime)

2. The Mentalist (Crime. Yes, I know. There are two in the same category. I can’t decide!)

3. The Event (Conspiracy)

4. Amazing Race (Reality TV)

5. The Middle (Comedy)

6. Tower Prep (Supernatural)

7. Merlin (Fantasy)

I think that’s all of them.

Well, almost.

I missed a couple.

Okay! I’ll tell you. I *whispers* I like Disney shows. Well, a few. Like Wizards of Waverly Place and Suite Life on Deck. They are so funny.

What are your favorite TV shows, then?

~The StoryWeaver

Oh dear. I have to give my favorite book! Impossible! That’s like asking me what my favorite star is.

SO, I’m going to tell you ONE of my favorite books. I have several. *coughArtemisFowlcoughHarryPottercoughDragonsinourMidstcough*

The book is Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev. It’s so good and I absolutely love it. It’s about this girl, Beatrice Shakespeare Smith AKA Bertie who lives in a theatre. And the theatre is magical. I know what you’re thinking. A magical theatre? What is this? But it’s good. And the theatre is magical because the people that act are the actual characters. So. Good.

I’m going to stop raving about one of my favorite books and actually go read it. πŸ™‚
What’s one of your favorites? Can you even pick a favorite?

~The StoryWeaver.

I don’t have a favorite movie but I have favorite movies in different genres. But if I did have a favorite movie, it would have to be….The Princess Bride!

Yes, it’s an oldie, but it’s AWESOME! And it has such good lines, and a good plot and characters and everything. πŸ™‚ Yay!

Okay, that’s it. I think…

Onto daily life. My internet is being really, really, REALLY slow. And the water’s gone. Great. *sarcastic smile* I had to refresh the page several times until it let me onto this page. Arg, lousy internet.

Favorite movies anyone? Annoying internet? I want to hear about it!

(I think I’ve had too much soda. Even if it was only tonic water, but still. :))
~The StoryWeaver.

EDIT: I got onto the second page of posts! Yes!

ERROR: AUTHOR HAS USED UP THEIR EXCLAMATION POINT QUOTA FOR THE DAY. AND POSSIBLY THE YEAR. - THE PUNCTUATION PATROL.

Welcome to Day One of the Blogging Challenge! I’m nervous, kinda, because I don’t know if I can do this. I’ll definitely need your help. πŸ™‚

So. A song.

*Whispers* I’m going to cheat. I’m going to post THREE songs. But they’re all different genres. So here they are.

NUMBER ONE: Carrickfergus by Celtic Woman.

Aw, it’s so beautiful and haunting. I love her voice. And it’s such a sad song. Okay, on to the next!

NUMBER TWO: My Boots by Lights.

It’s such an awesome song about winter. I hum it all the time.

NUMBER THREE: Brielle by Sky Sailing

I love the story that is told in this song. It’s so melancholy and pretty about a man going off to war and leaving his beloved.

So (t)here is (are) my (three) song(s). What do you think of them? Did you know of them before?

So I should probably do my homework. πŸ™‚

I did it! Day one of the blog challenge complete! I’m a little psyched right now. Good night…or morning…or afternoon.

~The StoryWeaver.

Ta-da!

So because I have not really been good at the whole blogging daily thing, (or even blogging weekly) I am going to do *drumroll* the Blogging Challenge!

What’s the Blogging Challenge? Well, it’s basically thirty things you have to do in thirty days. It can also be done on Facebook and the like as the Photo Challenge. Here’s the agenda.

Day 1: A favorite song.

Day 2: A favorite movie.

Day 3: A favorite book.

Day 4: A favorite television program.

Day 5: A favorite quote.

Day 6: A moment you wish you could relive.

Day 7: Five things you couldn’t possibly live without.

Day 8: A thank you letter to someone who has changed your life.

Day 9: A photo you took.

Day 10: A photo of you taken over ten years ago.

Day 11: A photo of you taken recently.

Day 12: A song that you want played at your wedding(or was played).

Day 13: A guilty pleasure.

Day 14: A vacation you would like to take.

Day 15: A person you admire.

Day 16: A song that makes you cry.

Day 17: An art piece.

Day 18: A time when you felt passionate and alive.

Day 19: A talent of yours.

Day 20: A hobby of yours.

Day 21: Something you know you do differently than most people.

Day 22: A website.

Day 23: A way in which you want to be remembered.

Day 24: A movie no one would expect you to love.

Day 25: A recipe.

Day 26: A childhood memory.

Day 27: A physical feature you love.

Day 28: A scar you have and it’s story.

Day 29: Hopes, dreams and plans you have for the next 365 days.

Day 30: A motto or philosophy.

So I will start tomorrow with one of my favorite songs. Which is appropriate because I have voice lessons tomorrow. The hard thing will be deciding what song.

Well, until we meet again!
